that call is a meeyowl. he is asking for attention and demanding a
response. insecurity and strength meeting. it is a deep and longish
vocalization. quite loud. as soon as we call out he is quiet. always
say "yes boots, i hear you. we're coming now."  may add endearments
but once we reassure him he is fine.

doesn't do it when i go out on my own. only when he is left alone. dog
= hate = company = need  all mixed together. complicated creature. as
we all are.
