sir lala was outside this evening playing with the neighbor children
(the ones who live in the house next door).  looked outside and saw sir
lala rolling down the street on a toddler-sized tractor toy.

nonononononoonono

he's not supposed to leave the property, let alone ride down the
*street*

went outside and screamed at the top of our lungs for him to stop and
come back.

15 minutes time out.
this time total time out with us not talking to him at all
then he had to tell us what his mistakes were

then he had to tell us the rules he's supposed to follow
he had to tell us several times

that was scary

we live on a quiet street
but there are still cars
cars that back out of driveways
cars that drive too fast
