In Liliana's post to Donna she uses the word "energy" several times. That is what I feel the pain of the loss of a child does to a mother; when the hurt fades a little bit, there is no energy to take its place. I cannot tell you the number of times I just can't cope with such little tasks or decisions because I lack the energy to do so, even after nearly a year and a half since our daughter died. It should be getting easier, but it's not. ( I have been going through grief therapy for six months now and I think I have finally "come up for air" because of it. If there is any way you can get that kind of help, Donna, I strongly recommend it) Keeping the memory of our child alive works in a positive way during these sessions, and the friends I have stayed close to during this period of mourning feel comfortable talking with me about our daughter. As long as you verbalize the memory of your child, he/she will never be forgotten. Genie[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
