You haven't met my in- laws, have you. ;) Yes its a great word and sadly the world is way too full of people who are unable to experience real pleasure in anything because all their energy is being taken up by negativity, finger pointing and The Blame Game. What they consider enjoying some time together = ripping and slashing whomever is not present, bitching and exchanging notes on what they KNOW he/she MEANT by what he/she said, calling each other and everyone else who has does not agree with them and back up every little sick negative thought they express an "fucking asshole" - well you get the idea....can you tell I've had a bad week? haha! Ah well next week is a new week, right? Actually I supposed anhedonia in its truest sense of the word is not the correct word to descibe them. They DO experice pleasure - this is what the consider "pleasureable", haha! So, ok any other "word freaks" out there, what would the word be for what I'm describing? Maybe Narcissistic? How bout just plain old "Dysfuctional" to the Max... nah, that word is so hackeyed and worn out.....that one bores me anymore.... Personally my idea of a "pleasureable" time usually involves something peaceful and quite that allows me to "recharge" and get ready for the next round of Daily Living and being grateful for the blessing I have, return to better health etc.....Their idea of a pleasureable time is spending it in chaos and turmoil. Its a bad mix for me..... Hey CJ I think I need a visit to your Healing Tree ;)[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
