Yeah, bummer, huh?  Good question.

I think it may have something to do with ISPs filtering binaries here.
Mine doesn't do that, but I know some do.

Another thought: newgroups are something you have to subscribe to and
download once in a while.  Many of the "binary" groups are totally
spam.  I use Forte Agent to sort through the gay/male groups and
delete the spam before bothering with downloading.  My point is, all
this requires user effort.  There are now several websites where you
can view/download lots of jock and cup pictures with a good deal less
bother.  When I mention "newsgroup" to other men, I often get "What is
that?"

Anyone else have some ideas?

But we can start another thread if you want.  Maybe "What's your
favorite jock, cupjock, and cup brand?  They don't have to match."
