I have an even harder time finding Sjogren's Syndrome support groups
(which is why I spend most of my time here in the Lupus Group--though
I suspect that I have Lupus in addition to SS, it has not been
diagnosed). I contacted the SSO, and they said there is no local
chapter. The Google Sjogren's group is inactive, and I have not found
any other Sjogren's group that apprears to have any activity, so it's
very discouraging and hard to find people to talk to.

Of all things, though, I just happened to overhear a co-worker who is
just 1 yr older than me telling someone that she has Sjogren's
Syndrome. Talk about defying the odds! We are 30 & 31 yrs old and
have had Sjogren's since our 20s (most common in women in their late
40s and beyond), and in a 450 employee workplace we happened to find
each other. She is my one and only support person, and since we were
diagnosed at roughly the same time, we are equally new and
inexperienced with this stuff.

I will say that other than old IJ, this is a really helpful support
group.
