I am getting worse

I am 46 years old I have had BPD for many years and finally diagnosed
about 6 years ago
My shrink says that my condition has gotten worse instead of "out
growing" it. I SI and am often suicidal.  I don't think there is much
of a chance of recovery in my case, but no one will admit it (my
treatment team) I haven't worked for 7 years been on every med, had
ECT (50) and have had intensive counseling with attempts at DBT x2. I
can't seem to take DBT seriously, I feel that most of the exersizes
are rediculous.  Does anyone out there have BPD and is the same age as
me?   I would appreciate hearing from you.
