Humidifier?

I cleaned my humidifier a few days ago and now it won't start. Of
course the technical support is open while i'm at work or i'd have to
wait until Saturday. I had planned on just getting another but they
seem to be seasonal. I run one in my living room 24/7 and a smaller
one in my room at night.

I've been on antibiotics for a week for another infection and i'm
miserable (more so since it stopped). Even my poor dog (16 yrs old) is
hacking more.

Anyone have a preference on brands?
