I am recovering from a similar situation. I went in for by pass surgery, 2 to 4 hours that ended up taking ten hours. When I first saw the surgeon after the surgery he looked at me, shook his head and said, "all that smoking." Then shook his head some more. I am so glad you made it through this. I hope the other goes well and that you feel stronger. Like you I am sure I would be dead by now if I were not celebrating my VOF this month. My surgeon urged me to get into a heart therapy program. I had my initial assesment Friday and start in earnest next Wednesday. I have no clue if it will help me or not. Has anyone made a similar suggestion to you? You hang in there Leslie.
