I am doing some work on a PDP 11/40 - Looking for M7856 and M9312 Docs. I have a PC set up to act as a terminal, and I *believe* the M7856 is set for 19200, and I *believe* the ROM in position 1 of the M9312 is the bootstrap program. I need more details, the PDP 11/40 manual is not super informative about peripheral cards. I am able to write and recall memory in the 64K range. Any tests I can toggle in? I have a LA36 terminal modded to 1200 baud, but I thought I would use a terminal program on a laptop emulating a VT52 first, to eliminate one variable. I am trying to determine where in ROM the bootstrap is, it's not in 165144, like I expected. I have only FFFF's and 0000's. Where should I look? Bill[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
