Regina, presumably you also support some organisation or other that helps
rats, mice, pigeons, lice, ants and other cute animals?

Surely it's not just cuddly toys you and your organisations are interested
in?

And surely there's no reason to single out Crete for this most hostile of
attacks - wishing your neighbours all the worst for 2007? Aren't there
places on Planet Earth where your endeavours are more needed, Regina - but
are you too lazy or self-centrered to and live there, without the Cretan
sun, sea, mountains, air and so on?

Sad you don't care at all about your fellow human beings - I really don't
think you are a very person at all, Regina, you are just a fanatical
single-issue campaigner.

Here's what the lady with the heart of an animal (not a very nice heart, by
the sound of it) wishes for me:

"I wish you would be reborn at least once as a Cretan puppy, taken off
from your mother shortly after birth, stuffed in a plastic bag and
suffocated."

Thanks for those kind words, Regina. It will probably not interest you in
the least that I do not reciprocate your evil wishes towards a fellow human
being, and one about whom you know virtually nothing. In fact, I wish you
happiness and contentment. And that would actually be the case even if you
were a kitten, Regina - but please understand that I'm one of those people
who should I ever be in such a situation that I would prefer to swerve the
car to avoid hitting a child and if needs be kill a kitten instead. Thus we
are all different.

And here's Regina's New Year greetings to the 'friends' and neighbours that
have long offered (or should that be suffered) her the famous Cretan
hospitality:

"Nice people, aren't they?"

"I wish them personally all the worst for 2007!"

Regina, I'm genuinely sorry to say that your mind has got life's priorities
wrong. I don't know of anybody who doesn't care about animals, but most of
us care more about human beings.
