I can download files at around 5 Mbps with my regular high-speed connection
but my cable company has two packages that are much faster. The best can do
25 Mbps but it costs $93/month compared to my $32/month. Of course those
prices are bundled prices--add $8 for stand alone. I'm very happy with my
Internet speed--I've downloaded some huge files in a very short amount of
time. Back in the old evil dial up days I can remember waiting hours for a
file to download that takes just a minute or two now. The old adage of "time
is money" is so true when it comes to Internet speed. The cost is worth
every cent!
