It is a feature which Agent needs, definitely.


In my experience
•  Thunderbird will delete MIME encoded attachments directly.
•  Thunderbird only pretends to be deleting UUEncoded attachments and
(single-part) yEncoded attachments, but it does not actually do so.

I have not tried Mutt.
