Good God, BJ, NEVER ask me to start!

But, since you have....

What city is most closely associated with vampyres, either in the past or in
the present?  For example, someone chasing down a rumor (okay, but I write
fiction, what can I say) about existing vampyres would likely end up in what
cities?

No, this is not a re-write of the Da Vinci Code.  (Da Renfield Code?  More
like it.)  Just looking for places to go with a story line.
