get smart dvds?

I was looking at the New Releases on Amazon.com and noticed the Get
Smart Season 1 dvd boxset is coming out (again) on August 5th for
$16.99 and will be distributed by HBO Home Video.  I checked on
TimeLife's website and they still have the complete series listed at
$199.95 and season 1 and 2 for $39.99 apiece.  On August 5th what will
happen to the timelife releases?  Will they come down in price to
match the new HBO Home VIdeo release or will they be taken out of
distribution in favor of the new release?  Is there any benefit to
waiting for a price reduction on the timelife complete collection or
should I buy the HBO ones a season at a time or whenever they do the
complete set themselves?  A web search said that HBO remastered the
audio and video but I can't tell if they're just the same ones
timelife had with a new distributor?
