Hi This is a cross post with uk.tech.broadcast, sorry I really need this information! If you are between 36 and 56 years old will have extensive experience of video capture, editing or Broadcast TV technologies between 1985 and 1990 or if you know anyone with this experience, I would like to hear from you. I am seeking broadcast and TV technology experts from the era of the Silicon Graphics IRIS 3000 workstation, Commodore Amiga A2000, Apple Macintosh II with Avid/1 video editing software, Acorn Archimedes or BBC Micro. I have a range of questions about computer broadcast and video editing software and hardware from this era. If you are knowledgeable about the state-of-the-art during this era it could result in a paid commission to help me challenge some patents. I would like to hear from you if: 1. At this time you would have known how to capture video from a video input card (especially if it may have been connectable to a TV tuner output signal) 2. If during 1990 or before you worked with computer systems and software providing a combined display of database output and video from a video source, library or archive (or if you know of such systems or software). 3. If you have experience in Scheduling Systems, Video Library or Archiving software or Broadcast Monitoring software. By all means reply to this forum, but I would be grateful if you could also send your reply to news@infinitereason.com Thanks for your help Paul[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
