There are two similiar websites owned by the same person. One site is www.redwidgets.com title is Red Widgets and the other site is www.bluewidgets.com titled Blue Widgets. Both sites have the same exact backlinks and toolbar pagerank. Both sites were started at the same time and both use the same webhost. Both sites use the same exact html coding and SEO and have the same amount of internal pages using the same linking structure. 6 months ago the Red Widget site was number one for the serp 'red widgets' and number 27 for the serp 'widgets'. The blue widgets site was number 187 for the serp 'blue widgets' and number 800 for the serp 'widgets'. The search engines algo recently changed and now the red widgets site has droped to number 87 for the serp 'red widgets' and nunber 850 for the serp 'widgets'. The blue widgets site is now number 1 for the serp 'blue widgets' and number 17 for the serp 'widgets'. How do you explain this? All I can come up with is for some unknown reason blue widgets have now become more popular and red widgets less popular and it was exactly the oppossite 6 months ago. If that's the case how does it all figure into the search engine algo and how can you SEO for it?[ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
