wysiwyg note editor for web page

I'm hoping shortly to start a project where I will need to include some form
of simple wysiwyg editor on a webpage - to allow users to edit simple text,
add links, images and possibly create tables. Much in the same way as many
CMS systems allow.

I'm probably googling on the wrong terms, but the only thing I've found that
I can drop in and use is richtext on sourceforge. This is an old project,
looks abandoned and is at v0.3. Is there something out there that you'd
recommend I look at as an alternative?
