Hi Does anyone know how I can access UK TV from abroad while I am on holiday? I am a UK resident and have Logmein.com. I have tried using UK-based Proxy servers but I can't find any that are fast enough to run video. (And no I do not want to pay money for this service as I am only on holiday for a short time!) Obviously one answer would be simply to do remote control on my PC in the UK, but again the upload speed that my ISP offers is pathetic (c.400K? instead of 8MB download) and is not fast enough to download video... Does anyone know of a way of downloading and storing videos from the likes of http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer or http://tvcatchup.com So that I could store it and send it to myself by FTP or similar? With thanks Ship Shiperton Henethe P.S. As an example try loading this page: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00n13px/The_Andrew_Marr_Show_27_09_2009/ and if you are outside of the UK you will get this message: "Currently BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only" Bloody irritating. :([ Auf dieses Posting antworten ]
